Follow these three simple steps to see someone’s WhatsApp status without them knowing:
- Open WhatsApp and go to Settings.
- Now go to Account and then tap on Privacy.
- Here, you have to disable the Read receipts option.
That’s it. Now, whenever you view someone’s WhatsApp status, you will not be shown as a viewer to them. However, you must keep the “Read receipts” option turned off until their status is active; otherwise, they will know about it.
Additionally, there are some downsides, like you won’t see blue ticks on your sent messages, nor will they see a blue tick on their sent messages to you.
