-

As we know that the pandemic has affected every aspect of our life. The professional lives of people have been hit as well. As a result, work from home has become the new normal to ensure social distancing. Hence, the importance of video call has been more than ever as everyone has to be in contact with each other and conduct meetings and conferences.

We have already seen a huge boom in the popularity of video calling applications like Google Meet, Skype, Zoom, MS Teams, etc.

As everyone is at attending meetings and video calls from home, sometimes the background can be a problem as it can cause some distractions for the participants. To change one’s background in the video call has become a necessity now. That is why all platforms have introduced this feature.

Google Meet has also rolled out features to customise the background on the desktop as well as the mobile app. It has the feature to filter out disruptive background noise and blur your background. It also has many default themes and background images such as office spaces, landscapes, and abstract backdrops.

Apart from this, Google Meet also allows users to choose and upload images as per their choice for the background.
