Indian smartphone brand Lava has just announced its first 5G smartphone known as the Lava Agni 5G. The key specifications of the device include a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC that supports 5G SA/NSA.

The device is built around a large 6.78-inch IPS LCD display that offers a Full HD+ screen resolution of 2460×1080 pixels and a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Dimension-wise, the device measures 168.8×76.8×9.1 mm and weighs 204g.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 6nm processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The chipset is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage via a microSD card up to 256GB.
On the flip-side, the device sports a rectangular shape camera island that homes to a quad-camera setup, including a 64MP wide camera with an f/1.79 aperture, 5MP ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 2MP cameras for macro and depth sensors with an f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, the device has a 16MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfie and video calls.
Connectivity features of the device include 5G SA/NSA (N41/N77/N78), dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 820.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS / GLONASS / Beidou, and a USB Type-C port.
The phone is packed with a 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 30W fast-charging. Software-side, the device runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. Other than that, it also features a 3.5mm audio jack as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentications.
Price and availability
The Lava Agni 5G comes in a single Fiery Blue color option. In terms of pricing, the device is priced at Rs 19,999 for the single 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The device goes on sale starting November 18 via Flipkart, Amazone, and Lava E-store.
As a part of the launch offer, users who pre-book the device till November 17 on Lava E-store can get the device for Rs 17,999.
