Nokia has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone in its G series known as Nokia G300 in the US market. Key Nokia G300 5G’s specifications include a 6.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 480 chip alongside 4GB of RAM, and a triple rear camera setup. It has a 4,470mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Nokia G300 5G is priced at USD 199 (Rs 15,000 approx.) for its single 4GB with 64GB of internal storage. There is no word on whether the device will be launched in other markets.

The G300 5G features a 6.5-inch TFT LCD display with an HD+ screen resolution of 720×1600 pixels and a thick bottom chin.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 480 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Coming to the cameras, the device has a circular camera island that homes to a triple camera setup comprising of a 16MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the device has an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The device draws power from a 4,470mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging to keep its lights on. The company claims 2-days of battery life. The device runs on a stock version of Android 11.

Connectivity features of the device include 5G, Dual 4G Vo-LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Other than that, the device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and a 3.5mm audio jack.
