Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 users might have to wait a little longer for Android 12

Android 12 is all the rage right now in the Android communities as custom ROM makers strive to build stable builds of their ROMs. This, even as many OEMs step up their efforts to build and test their Android 12 skins for eligible devices.

After Google’s Pixel devices bagged their updates, Samsung is also pushing its Android 12-based One UI 4 build to its foldables and flagship devices, the Galaxy S21 series, much to the delight of owners. This is the fastest that Samsung has been able to roll out stable builds to eligible devices. Good job, guys.

However, it is not all songs and dances for all Samsung device owners. This, as reports coming in, suggest that Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G’s Android 12 quest is yet to be concluded.

In a message posted on Weibo, a Samsung official goes to notify Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G’s One UI 4 build still undergoing tests. He goes on to assure eager users that they’re working hard to bring this build to them.

About Galaxy Z Fold3 5G’s One UI 4 test The version is also working hard to prepare. Please be patient and wait for the specific test date. Please continue to pay attention to the “Samsung Galaxy Community”. We will announce the relevant information here as soon as possible. *To participate in this test, you need to upgrade the “galox community” APP to the latest version. If you use the old version to register, you will not be able to participate in the test normally.

Samsung’s recently-released Android 12 One UI 4 rollout plan details that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is set to bag the stable build sometime in December, and as such, these users have something to look forward to next month and might want to tame their expectations for the month of November.

This month is exclusively dedicated to rolling out Android 12 to the Galaxy S21 devices, and seeing carriers like Verizon doing so only goes to verify this.
