Huawei has officially announced a new Nova 8 series smartphone known as Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G in the Chinese market. As the name suggests, it is a 4G device that packs an octa-core Kirin 710A processor under the hood.
The key specifications of the device include a 64MP primary camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner.

For starters, the Nova 8 SE 4G features a 6.5-inch OLED display that offers a Full hD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display panel has 403 PPI pixel density and a DCI-P3 color gamut.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710A chipset which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in the memory department.
At the back, the phone comes with a square shape camera module that is home to a quad-camera setup comprising of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a pair of 2MP macro and depth camera units. At the front, the device has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity features of the device include a dual SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device is backed by a 3,800 battery with 66W fast charging support.
Dimension-wise, the device measures 7.5mm and weighs 180g. On the software side of things, the device boasts HarmonyOS 2 out of the box. Other than that, it also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Price and availability
The Nova 8 SE 4G comes in Black, Silver, White, and Blue color options. The device is priced at CNY 2,099 (USD 328 / INR 25,000 approx.) for the single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model.
