Google has finally launched its smartphone Google Pixel 4a in India on 9th October. However, Pixel 4a has globally launched about two months ago, with the only variant of 6GB/ 128GB priced at $349 (about Rs 25,500).
Pixel 4a with 6GB/ 128GB is priced at Rs 31,999 in India with an introductory price of Rs 29,999 during the festive sale.
The Pixel 4a is the successor of Pixel 3a. The Google Pixel 3a was launched in India at Rs 39,999. Compared to the Pixel 3a, the Pixel 4a is quite aggressively priced in India, considering its specs.

Pixel 4a features a 5.81-inch full HD+ OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen resolution is 2340 x 1080 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a pixel density of 443ppi. It has an always-on display feature and HDR support.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G based on the Adreno 618 GPU and octa-core CPU. The phone runs on the Android 10 operating system and will receive updates for three years.
It has a single SIM slot that can support up to 4G VoLTE network types. The internal storage in Pixel 4a is not expandable through a microSD card. It has Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. For Audio, it has dual stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It has necessary sensors such as a Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyrometer, Magnetometer, Barometer, and Android Sensor Hub. For security, it has a rear-mounted Fingerprint Sensor and supports Face Unlock. The Google Pixel 4a is a lightweight smartphone that weighs about 143 grams.
Pixel 4a has a 3140mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The Pixel 4a comes in a single colour option – Black. It also comes in a single RAM and storage variant – 6GB/ 128GB variant.
